Da Li Elementary School
Volunteers from Kang Chiao International School are responsible for providing English lessons to children from Yilan Da Li Elementary School.
When first arranging this service, time was the biggest challenge. Many of the Da Li kids commute by train, and many Kang Chiao students commute by school bus. The golden hour of sunset is the only available time — volunteers rush to their computer as soon as they arrive home while Da Li students make sure to finish their classes before 7 in order to catch their train.
We are very grateful for everyone who works so our program can run smoothly!
Meet Up Event
To make up for the limited time our volunteers and children meet online each week, we periodically organize meet-up events.

Then I decided to show her a video, and explained to her about the vocabulary and the content. She seemed interested in the video, so I would probably do it again next time.”
